It's best to scope out a trail in full, multiple times before you hit the send button. Some of our trails are hard to find on the Australian mainland so don’t expect to be confident and or proficient on your first run.

Download the Emergency Plus app on your phone and know how to use it.
Protective equipment
Consider what protective equipment you wear for the riding you do, we recommend at a minimum an open face helmet, glasses, gloves, knee and elbow guards. If you like to get a little more sendy then a full face helmet with goggles and a chest/back protector is a worthy investment.
Emergency Call 000
In an emergency always call 000. To report hazards on the trail you can use Trailforks or call council 24/7 on 03 5153 9500 as we always have a staff member on call for the park.
ICE Details
Have you set up or updated your ICE details on your phone? This information can be very valuable in an emergency. Make sure you include key contacts, any medication you're on and medical history.
Medication
If you typically carry medication with you then please carry this on your rides. Omeo does have a pharmacy where scripts can be filled.
