Important Information - WARNING

Mountain biking is inherently dangerous, and presents a number of risks to riders. The risks cannot be eliminated but can be reduced if you carefully acquaint yourself with the trail, control your speed and select the terrain best suited to your level of ability and experience.

Exclusion of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, East Gippsland Shire Council excludes all liability (including liability in negligence) for any personal injury, death, property damage or property loss that you suffer in connection with your use of the trail.

CCTV In Use on Trails

East Gippsland Shire Council operates CCTV within the Omeo Mountain Bike Trail areas for the safety and security of our users and community. The information collected is utilised for the purpose of public safety, crime detection and prevention together with ensuring the safety of Council assets and employees.

Your personal information and image will only be accessed by persons who have been authorised to do so. This information may be provided to law enforcement agencies for investigation and/or prosecution purposes. Your information will not be provided to any other individual or agency unless authorised or required by law.
