The return trail from Sluice, cross Dry Gully Creek and after a short climb start the return journey and the gully bed to the Oriental Claims Trailhead.

Easy-intermediate cross country trail with ups and downs, finishing at the Oriental Claims Historic Area. Return via Mine Bender and the Livingstone Creek Track.

A tip of the hat to you for tackling the last climb up to the Summit of Sam Hill, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views up the Mitta Valley and over towards Benambra with Lake Omeo front and centre.
